Oren Hirsch

Transportation Planner

Photography

The first time I had a camera of my own was in 1995, when I was given a disposable camera for my family’s three week vacation in Israel.  Since then, I’ve upgraded to point and shoots, compact digital cameras, and since 2009, a Nikon DSLR D90.  I will also admit to occasionally using my iPhone’s camera.  While I take plenty of photos of transit vehicles, I also enjoy photographing cityscapes and landscapes.  Some of my photography has appeared on official transit agency websites, among other places.

If there is a photo of mine that you found on Oren’s Transit Page or elsewhere on this website that you are interesting in using, please contact me directly.  I do my best to say “yes” to these types of requests, but please ask before you use my work.  A sample of some of my photography can be seen in the gallery below.  Additional transit photography samples can be seen here.
